Juliet

Juliet has got that rose between her teeth again
Here she comes up to the window hoping to get in
What the damned girl can't seem to remember
Is that I've barred her from this house forever

Juliet has got that anxious look upon her face
Wondering if she can be sure she's come to the right place
Right place it might be but that spells trouble
The girl had better leave here on the double

Call her off, haul her in, she can't suspect the danger in
Messing with the Jeckyl locked inside
Best she takes the bitter pill, I can't be held responsible
For actions that might well be justified

Juliet has pressed her face up to the window pane
From the darkened room I watch her search within in vain
She could wait all night that wouldn't be clever
'Cos when I told her no I meant never

Call her off…

For I have built a house upon a hill
To discourage all of this
Tempting my darker nature
And I have got no sympathy
For those who will insist
On waking this creature

Juliet collapsed and died still clinging to the rose
Shrivelled up outside a house where nothing ever grows
Let down by a foolish intuition
That she could wear me down into submission

Call her off…
Call her off…
